PROJECT FISHSCALE

Written by J.T. “The Source”

How do you feel to be back in the music game and close to top compared to your last release?

It feels good. I just wanted def jam to give me the love that I should get like the rest of my label-mates.

How do you feel about this album (Fishscale) compared to your previous releases on epic records?

This is blood, sweat, tears, poured out into this project and my goal is to bring east coast hip-hop back as well NYC. The Mecca of where hip-hop began!

What can your fans and new ones look forward to on this damn near classic album?

Nothing but Tony Starks a.k.a. Ghostface Killah - riding the new waves and bringing genuine hip-hop and knowledge to the masses!

What’s up with you and the Wu-Tang clan?

Everybody good in all accept the passing of O.D.B. {r.i.p.} it’s time for the greatest rap group of all time to come and bring light back to hip-hop for real, right now everybody is doing them and it’s little tension, nothing major but we will overcome and I’m 90% sure there will be another Wu-Tang clan album coming later on this year! After doing the tour for O.D.B it felt good that we still could rock and tear the stage down. [We] sold out shows with no album out! uh! so what does that tell you… it’s time to go back to the chamber!

Ghostface, you’re considered to be one of the top elite and highly respected artists in the game! What is your vision? You received rave reviews all over from The Source, XXL, Rolling Stone, and even Scratch Magazine! Billboard hailed it to be your best work to date, and with fire single “Back Like That” fueled by one of the hottest in the game of R&B Ne-yo it only means more fans.

I just wanted the ladies to understand a man. You have to remember that even though I can’t make excuses for brother’s mistakes however if you are still there then you made that decision two wrongs don’t make it right! So either except it and work bringing that love stronger but that scheming and cheating it’s not what’s happening cause someone or people could get hurt. You can’t play with people’s hearts. Domestic violence is at an all-time high. We got to be true to ourselves and love and respect ourselves in order to give that love to our partner. Well it’s time for me to rock this show, I am little under the weather but I love my fan’s and that what’s keep me going!

In Baltimore, MD’s own Club Sonar, Ghostface is hitting the stage and the crowd has been in a frenzy. With over 2,000 people in attendance to see one of the most lyrically propelled artists in the game.

Ghostface Killah, has rocked arenas, stadiums and now the club circuit hittin the charts at # 5 and climbing with “Back Like That” featuring Ne-yo… It’s a sign that The Clan and Killer Bee’s are regrouping to bring some plaques as well as some light back to the Big Apple! 50 Cent - move over, there’s some counterparts coming up quickly! With a one hour and a half performance, he went through his classics as well as his new hits.

Pandemonium poured over the club as Ghostface performed along with Theodore Unit Trife, The Gza and Killah Priest to name a few. Fans can definately be on the lookout for new albums from the Wu, “The Rebirth” and “Cuban Linx Pt. 2″ from Raekwon. NYC just might see some light coming through the clouds.
